THE CLOCK TOWER, LAKESIDE RETAIL PARK

On 12/08/2019 DPJ Scaffolding/Network Scaffolding undertook a project to supply scaffolding from ground level up to the height of the antennas attached to the clock tower at Lakeside Retail Park Thurrock. The project took 2 weeks to erect, and all had to fall in line with deadlines set out by the client.

The total scaffold height was 40m and the tower itself is triangular, so this entailed erecting scaffold splays on every corner the whole way up. Specialist scaffold drawings were required and strictly followed to ensure the construction was correct and to specification. Once the antennas had been removed from the building, the requirements were that they will be fitted to the external of the scaffold.

All work was carried out without any hitches and within deadlines, this was a job that as a company we are very proud of and showed the great standard that the employees of Network Scaffolding produce.
